This works:<br>

run kwal +t* +s"dans" +d +o@ +t%cod +f  (gives all utterances with "dans")<br>

then run kwal +d +o@ +t%cod -s"$*:*:dans:*" filename.kwa.cex (adjust the

number of asterisks and position of "dans" to match your data and eliminate

the $ if you are not using it; the output will now show only the utterance

with"dans" that have *other* codes in the "dans" position.  You can also

do two kwals together (piping) ... but I always try the simple commands first

then readjust for piping<br>

the occurrence of the French preposition “dans” (<i>in</i>) will be coded

“…:SEP|dans:…”, “SEP” standing for “Spatial Expression, Preposition”. So,

I want to retrieve automatically (with combo or kwal and pipes) all the main

lines containing “dans” where the dependent tier %cod does not contain “SEP|dans”

as its fifth level, and only these lines. So far, I had difficulties to specify

properly this last constraint (I tried with “!”, but perhaps I made errors

specifying its scope).<br>
