Usually, the whole tier is excluded, which is done with postcodes, [+ ...]. As best as I understand what you are trying to do you need to use the same options to exclude code-switched words or fillers in mlu as you do in freq. In this case your mlu command would look like this:<br>

mlu -c"[^c]" -s"<@s>" -s"<@i>" filename.cha<br>
<br>
If this does not help, then please email me a small example of the input file and an example of the output you expect to get.<br>
