Hello,<br><br>I have a couple of questions regarding MLU analyses in CLAN (version d/l from March 28), any help would be greatly appreciated.<br><br>1. I am running MLU analyses and I am trying to exclude words in the morpheme count that are set up in a separate .cut file. I am using the -s switch such as: -s@exclude.cut in the command, but it does not seem to be working (when I use the same switch with the FREQ program, it does work). Is there a certain way the file has to be set up to exclude words for MLU? The "exclude.cut" file itself is located in the same working/library directory as the files I'm trying to analyze.<br>
<br>2. Also, is there a difference between tagging words such as jack+in+the+box, or jack_in_the_box for MLU? A short test sentence I ran did not arrive with a different MLU count.<br><br>Thank you!<br>Janet Bang<br>
