Dear ChiBolts<br>I am writing on behalf of a student who is working on her thesis on phonetic factors of L2 speech and language development.  She would like to use PHON for her transcription needs.  Is there a way to get clips from videos that are linked to CHAT files from CLAN into PHON?  or would it be better/easier to go from CLAN to PRAAT to PHON?  She wants to use line numbers from the CHAT files to locate words of interest for transcription in PHON.  Once located, she wants to get the words into PHON as easily as possible.  <br clear="all">
