<div>Thanks for your reply. What I meant was, when I look in the database manual for the bilingual data it appears to just give information about the written transcripts, but it wasn't clear to me whether the files under Media were ALL the files from a given
corpus (so, the sound files are there under Media and the corresponding written files are under Transcripts and all are present under both links) or whether only a subset of files were under Media, and if so, which ones.</div>

<div>But now I am actually more confused, because I am almost positive that on Friday when I was searching under Media (i.e. from the main webpage, clicking Media in the Database box) there was a lot more stuff there. I had listened to audio files from Deuchar
and the FerFuLice corpora, but now they are not there and the list is quite short. Am I crazy or did this actually change over the weekend?</div>

<div>It seems that the stuff under Media is not exactly the same as linked media files in the transcript browser. For example, under Media there is a Perez directory which has two sound files from Alberto. But when you click on Perez within the transcript browser,
none of Alberto's files show up with any linked media.</div>

are asking about how to know whether a given corpus has either linked audio or linked video. In that case, one way to study this is to use the Browser at </div>
<div><a href="http://childes.talkbank.org/browser/">http://childes.talkbank.org/browser/</a> If there is an icon with a speaker, then there is linked audio. If there is an icon with a film clip, then there is linked video. Sadly, for the bilingual corpora,
most are missing both audio and video. The exceptions are YipMatthews, MCF, Mandarin, and one of the Perez children. In many cases, we have the audio and video, but it has not yet been linked. For the bilingual files, you can go to <a href="http://childes.talkbank.org/media/0unlinked/biling">http://childes.talkbank.org/media/0unlinked/biling</a>
and you will see audio and video that has not yet been linked for several corpora.</div>

data for bilingual children available on the website? I'm going to be teaching a course on bilingualism next fall, so I was interested in some short video clips of children code switching for demonstration purposes.</div>
