<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"> There is now a new version of the CHILDES/TalkBank manual. This new version now has three parts: CHAT, CLAN, and MOR. Earlier, the material on MOR, POST, and MEGRASP was included in the CLAN manual.
However, the details of information on these programs are not important for all users, particularly if they are working with languages that already have well-developed MOR, POST, and MEGRASP systems. Also, there was a lot of redundancy between sections of
the description of MOR and MEGRASP which I have now eliminated. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"> There were no changes in the basic specifications of programs. However, hopefully this new version will prove easier to follow. The three manuals can be downloaded from links at either
<a href="http://talkbank.org">http://talkbank.org</a> or <a href="http://childes.talkbank.org">
http://childes.talkbank.org</a>. The links appear as just CHAT – CLAN – MOR in sequence, but each of these words connects to a different manual.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"> Let me also draw your attention to the set of video tutorials which Davida Fromm is producing. These are located off a link called “Tutorial Videos” in the same areas.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
