I have now confirmed that the same file-access error also occurs with KWAL,<br>
so it appears to be related to the security module rather than to a<br>
particular command.<br>

I understand that the problem may not be fixed immediately. In the<br>
meantime, I will use the desktop version of CLAN and the downloadable data<br>
files as you suggested.<br>

The format is mp3 <br>
The media files are from our lab. We video participants and the media files <br>
are uploaded to our internal system.<br>
The bullets are parsed on a blank chat file using the media files. <br>
Then we duplicate this preparsed chat file for students to use for <br>
practice. <br>
The students are finding that the mp3 on its own is fine, it's just when <br>
they press select + add media file, then the lag begins.<br>

I am trying to understand what steps you are taking in Problem 1.<br>
Are you saying that you start with these two lines like this:<br>

In this case what you end up with on Screenshot 3 is exactly what you can expect on a Windows PC. You just need to add space character "the[* s:r:gc]" between word "the" and code [* ...]. On Windows PC lines are automatically wrapped around to about 80 characters per line. You can not get the line like this on Window PC:<br>

Problem 2:<br>

We try to discourage people from using Mp3 files especially if those Mp3 files are heavily compressed. We notices that even if Mp3 file starts playing the bullet correctly on the computer where bullet was added, then on an other computer with different hardware and system configuration Mp3 file will not play in the same place. We always suggest that people use .wav format for audio media files.<br>

Just to clarify are you saying that every bullet consistently skips the first 0.5 seconds of playing time? Again please try this with the wave file or latest version of CLAN or on the same computer where bullets were added to the data file. Are you adding bullets from video or audio Mp3 media files, because you say you video your participants and the media files are uploaded to your system.<br>
