Matter of fact, I don't recall having heard anyone _ever_ order "rye and
pepsi".....

Pepsi's in use as a brandname, even a sub-generic for cola; it's just that
in reference to human beings the connotations are somewhat
unfortunate...... (Pepsi-Cola had quite the grip on Quebec, apparently)
