One of the black holes of northern Ontario for hitchhikers; the others being
Ignace-Dryden and Marathon.  In my hitchhiking days I never did get let off
there, thank goodness, although I did have coffee there on a drive across
the country a few years ago.  And yes, there is a big concrete (or whatever
it's made of) giant goose on the edge of town.  Hideous thing, but better
than Sudbury's giant nickel.
