Jargon in "Happy Days" episode--yep

Occasionally "Jargon sightings" in movies come up on the list. I ran across this one somewhere on the Web, but don't think it's appeared here yet.

In episode 51 of "Happy Days" ("Three on a Porch "), Ritchie, Ralph and Potzie rent a cabin at the lake to chase girls. Hoping make an impression, they decide to pretend to be foreigners. (They settle on "Tunisian.") They need to fake accents, but don't know any foreign languages, so Ralph says his mom taught him "to count in American Indian." (He then counts to five in Jargon.) Includes a sung rendition of "Rock Around the Clock" in gibberish, with the passing morning hours recited in Jargon.

I just caught it on a TV Land rerun, and thought this quirky reference was worth mentioning. (Well, maybe not--but it might lighten things up on the list a bit.)

(Gotta go--"Gilligan's Island" just came on.)

Regards,

Jeff
