The Hee Hee Stone gets an informative write-up in a new book published by
Arthur C. Clark Co., Spokane, 2001, titled: Recollections from the Colville
Indian Agency 1886-1889 by Major Rickard D. Gwydir.  The author's grandson
will be speaking at our local bookstore, Auntie's, in a few months about the
collection of writings he found in his grandmother's trunk a while back.
The above mentioned book came from that treasure-trove.  In the book, the
agent uses Chinook Jargon in several places and talks about the Hee Hee
stone.  Recommended reading!
