Neat!
One of the most interesting books I read was the Katzie Book of Genesis which was written by a member of the Katzie tribe in the (?) late 1800s. He had been trained as a Christian missionary and spokes the 'Kings English'. Not 'Kin Choch' but probably 'Kin Cham' (King James). The stories are told in Biblical English about the Changer creating the world, different rock formations and of course punishing the Indians who were not behaving properly by transforming them into the Deer, Seal etc.
