Interesting example of Halkomelem following the same pattern as 
Jargon 'tikegh' meaning just about to:  

-ulmun is the desirative suffix. 

lhuqw 'get wet' > lhukwulmun 'almost damp'
p'il 'fill up' > p'ilulmun 'starting to fill up'
yeq' 'fall down' > yeq'ulmun 'almost falling down'

Does this style of desirative translate into Jaron?

pahtl chuck 'wet' > tikegh pahtl chuck 'almost damp'
laghlagh 'fall down' > tikegh laghlagh 'almost falling down'
