Good news for CJ etymologizers

I've stumbled upon Peter Bakker's very thoughtful public service to the
Salish-studies community, an "Index to the English translations of the
Proto-Salish reconstructions in Kuipers (2002)".

In other words, PB has filled a gap in Aert Kuipers' authoritative Salish
etymological dictionary, now allowing us to look for Salish forms starting
from English meanings.

This Index is downloadable for free as a PDF from the current site of the
UMOPL series, at the Jacobs Foundation / Whatcom Museum.

It may be a welcome tool for folks who try to puzzle out CJ etymologies.
