False positives (quasi-CJ in the news)

Recently I've had two experiences listening to the radio that suddenly
raised my attention level.  Both times I heard something that I first
interpreted as Jargon, then realized was something else.

I heard about the #1 television channel in Afghanistan, "Tolo TV".

And I heard someone mentioned whose last name turns out to be spelled
"Cultice" but is pronounced "cultus".  [http://www.culticefamily.org/]

Proof that I'm a monomaniac!
