on a novel set on the Thompson bench (Walhachin, to be specific!) and turned on
the radio to hear a neat discussion on Mark Forsythe's CBC show, Almanac,
between Dave and Keith Carlson about the Kamloops Wawa acquisition. It was a
vivid and congenial accompaniment to my lunch. Thanks very
