<P>Some of Horatio Hale's papers are in the J.J. Talman Regional Collection at the University of Western Ontario.  According to a colleague of mine who has looked through the fonds, it consists mostly of Hale's Polynesian mansucripts, offprints of his journal articles, and some outgoing correspondence.</P>
