The Bilingual Canadian Dictionary Project, whose primary objective is to
create a new
Canadian English/French dictionary,is looking for a post-doctoral fellow
for one year.

PRINCIPAL TASKS:	
	-Revising (editing) bilingual (English/ French) entries which have been
prepared
	by student assistants
	- Preparing articles on bilingual lexicography
	
REQUIREMENTS:
	- Ph.D. (in linguistics, translation, French or English) completed between
	July 1998 and July 2000
	- Excellent knowledge of English and French
	- Computer literacy
	- Analytical ability
	- Wide general knowledge
	- Excellence in research
	- Good communication skills
	- Ability to work in a team

PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT:	
	July 2000-June 2001

VALUE OF AWARD:
	$24,000 Canadian for the year
