6th TELRI Seminar entitled "Multilingual Corpus Research"
Bansko, Bulgaria, November 9-11, 2001

Organisers: TELRI-II (Trans-European Language Resources Infrastructure)
Local organisers: Linguistic Modelling Department , Bulgarian Academy of Sciences , Sofia, Bulgaria

The organisers invite participants to register for the 6th TELRI seminar, to be held in the picturesque Bulgarian mountain town Bansko, November 9-11, 2001. The conference organisers will arrange transportation from Sofia Airport, Bulgaria.
The registration fee for the conference is EURO 50/20* for academic partners, and EURO 100/30* for industrial partners. The * refers to fees for participants from the CEE/NIS. To register, please fill in the registration form found in the attachment and return it to: MattyLRI at hhs.bham.ac.uk or fax it +44 121 414 60 53. This is the sixth in the series of TELRI seminars, and also the last seminar held within the framework of the TELRI-II project. With this years title, "Multilingual Corpus Research", we would like to complete the circle; starting with the first TELRI Seminar in Tihany, Hungary, focusing on compiling corpora, to the present seminar where the focus has shifted to the actual research based on these resources.

Our invited speakers are Sylviane Granger, Louvain-la-Neuve, Dorothy Kenny, Dublin, and yet a third invited speaker to be announced. The timetable looks as follows:
