The English Teacher: An International Journal
Special Issue: Corpora and Language Teaching
Deadline for submission: 30th November 2001

This Special Issue focuses on the applications of language corpora in the
following areas:

approaches in language teaching/learning
raising language awareness
teaching English for specific purposes
learner corpora
corpus-based lesson plans/activities
literature teaching and learning


We welcome articles for the following sections:

1) papers (2000-5000 words)
2) reviews (corpus oriented)
3) Hints and Ideas (practical suggestions, successes in the classroom, etc
using language corpora)
