A couple folks asked me for a summary of the responses to my query about
Spanish corpora tools, so here it is:

1. Lluís Padró <padro at lsi.upc.es> suggested the tools developed by his
team, which can be seen at http://www.lsi.upc.es/~nlp. Eva Esteve Ferrer
<estevef0 at etu.unige.ch> also recommended them. I've been in correspondence
with Lluís and will definitely be pursuing this possibility, even if it
involves setting up a Linux box, which is something I haven't done in a
couple years.

2. Raf Salkie <R.M.Salkie at bton.ac.uk> pointed me to Leonel Ruiz Miyares
(leonel at lingapli.ciges.inf.cu <leonel at lingapli.ciges.inf.cu>, who has done
work in this field (cf. http://www.hit.uib.no/corpora/2001-1/0406.html).

3. John Goldsmith <ja-goldsmith at uchicago.edu> pointed me to a program that
he's developing, which can be read about and downloaded from
http://humanities.uchicago.edu/faculty/goldsmith/Linguistica2000/index.htm
. I'm also planning on checking this app out as soon as time permits.

4. Philip Resnik <resnik at umiacs.umd.edu> and Pasi Tapanainen
<Pasi.Tapanainen at conexor.fi> pointed me to the commercial tools available
at http://www.conexor.fi .

5. Susana Sotillo IMAP <sotillos at mail.montclair.edu> brought a DOS-based
program, http://chss.montclair.edu/~sotillos/Tactpages/index.html , to my
attention.

Many thanks to everyone for your suggestions. This will definitely keep me
off the streets and out of trouble for a while.

Cheers,
Scott
