Corpora: code for random selection of concordance lines

Dear list members

I wonder if anyone has a bit of perl or java code (or unix utilities) for
drawing an x number of lines at random from a concordance? The number of random
lines is variable and is specified by the user. The concordance file is saved as
text, has a little header, with each line of text followed by a (DOS) line
break:
