Mark Shuttleworth of Imperial College, London,
will talk on
The Theory and Practice of Translation Memory in MT

Venue: Room 2.80, Franklin Wilkins Building, King's College,
    150 Stamford Street, London, SE1 9NN.

Date: Thursday, 5 December 2002, 6.15 - 8.00 p.m.

How to get there: Please note that this is not our usual
    place in the Strand. The venue at 150 Stamford Street
    is close to the traffic roundabout at the south end of
    Waterloo Bridge and the main entrance to Waterloo Station
    (Bakerloo, Jubilee, Northern, British Rail). Take the
    underpass in the direction of The National Theatre and
    exit to Stamford Street where indicated.
    Buses include: 1, 4, 26, 68, 76, 77, 168, 171, 176, 178,
    188, 211, 501, 505 and 521.

Entrance free - all welcome.

This talk will be preceded by a brief A.G.M. of the Group
(6.15 - 6.30 p.m.).

Please note that the committee would welcome new members,
particularly for Treasurer or Auditor. If you might be
interested in helping the committee contact any committee
member for further information.

As usual, the committee will entertain the speaker afterwards
in a local restaurant and participants are welcome to come
along at their own expense to continue the discussion in
more convivial surroundings. As this meeting is quite near
Christmas we have had to book a limited number of places so
if you would like to join us after the meeting please let
the Secretary know as soon as possible so that we may book
more places.
