Automobile speech recognition:
- topics in noisy speech recognition
- toipics in accented speech recognition
- topics in audio-visual speech recognition
- topics in distance-talking speech recognition
- topics in embedded speech recognition
- topics in multi-modal processing and user interface
- topics in dialog systems

Research Associate
- PhD in speech recognition or natural language processing, or related field
- Strong in pattern recognition or machine learning
- Experience in independent research
- Experience in writing papers independently a plus
- Experience in leading a small team a plus
- Proficient in software system design and implementation

Research Assistant/PhD Student
- MSc or BSc in computer science or electrical engineering
- Experience in speech recognition, natural language processing or related
field a plus
- Strong in mathematics
- Background in pattern recognition, machine learnign a plus
- +2 years in C/C++ programming, Unix/Perl programming

Research Assistant/Programmer/MPhil Student
- BSc or MSc in computer science or electrical engineering
- +2 years in C/C++ programming, Unix/Perl programming
- Experience in speech or language processing a plus though not necessary
- System implementation experience
