Hi Ilaria,

You might contact William Stiles at Miami University
<http://www.users.muohio.edu/stileswb/>. In his research on Verbal
Response Modes (VRM), he has worked a lot on analysing verbal
Doctor-patient interactions, and may have some transcribed data he could
share with you.

I have no formal affiliation with Prof Stiles, but have corresponded
with him in the past about his VRM work and found him to be very helpful
and open to the possibility of sharing research data.

Regards,
Andrew

Subject: [Corpora-List] medical corpora

Hallo

I am looking for English Medical corpora, both of written texts - e.g.
specialised journal articles - and spoken interaction -
e.g.doctor/patient - for my thesis, which is about the analysis of the
transalation strategies used in the translation of the sit-com "House -
MEdical Division" from English to Italian.

Do you know about any corpora of this kind available online (or any
other material that could turn out to be useful for my work?)

Thank you,

Ilaria Tambani
