[Corpora-List] Call for participation: Language Industry Forum, March 17th

Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce the organisation of the “Language Industry  
Forum” which will be held in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium) on the 17th of  
March: http://www.uclouvain.be/FIL2010

This event will take  place within the framework of the “Semaine de la  
lange française en fête” in collaboration with the Service de la  
langue de la Communauté française, Infopole, Twist and the Kot Ardoise  
(Louvain-la-Neuve, March 17th, 2010, Aula Magna).

The main objectives of this event will be to :

- bring together key actors in research, industries and high  
institutions working in the domain of Language Industry (the morning  
will be dedicated to lectures and debates for professionals);
- Inform the general public and raise their awareness about these  
technologies as they are little known although present in widely-used  
everyday tools (during the afternoon, an exhibition will allow many  
technology producers and service providers to present their  
activities). A vast communication campaign has been planned in order  
to reach this objective.
