Dear All,

as many of you already know the BootCaT toolkit implements a procedure
to automatically build corpora from the web, requiring only a list of
"seeds" (terms that are expected to be typical of the domain of
interest) as input.

The scripts have been around for several years and now we're happy to
announce the availability of the BootCaT front-end, a new graphic user
interface for the toolkit. Unlike other similar projects, this is not a
re-implementation of the scripts in another language, it's just a GUI
that runs on top of the original Perl scripts.

The program is free and open source and is available for Windows, MacOSX
and Linux:

Please note that the software is at an early stage of development and is
still a bit rough around the edges. Comments and suggestions are most
welcome.

Best,
Eros Zanchetta
