The Language Center of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy)
in collaboration with the Department of Language, Text and Translation
Studies are pleased to announce an international conference entitled
“Standardized Language Testing in Teaching and Research”, to be held in
Modena from 2 to 4 December 2010.

The conference aims to provide scholars, teachers and students
specializing in language assessment an open forum for discussing current
research issues from the field of language testing.
The following keynote speakers and round-table moderators have confirmed
their participation:
Alan Davies (University of Edinburgh)
Gianfranco Porcelli (Università Cattolica di Milano)
James Purpura (Columbia University)
Johann Fischer (Georg-August-Universität Göttingen)

Deadline for abstract submission is extended to October 20, 2010.
