[Corpora-List] Help Regarding Cognates Identification

Padmini,

could you clarify what you mean by "cognates" ??

Google "define: cognates" gives several alternatives:

  "words that have a common etymological origin"
  "having the same ancestral language; 'cognate languages'"
  "similarly spelled and/or pronounced words of different languages that
have similar meanings"
  "words related in language"
