[Corpora-List] Why some languages has complex morphology meanwhile other not?

I was startled to see you list Chinese as an example of a language with
complex morphology.  Most of us linguists think of it as having almost no
morphology.  (The only language that I personally know about which is
arguably morphologically simpler than Chinese would be Vietnamese.)  In
view of this difference of opinion, I suspect that your question may not
mean what I took it to mean.
