[Corpora-List] Evaluation contest on man-machine collaboration for access to the wikipedia in Portuguese

Dear colleagues,

Linguateca is happy to announce a new evaluation contest dealing with
complex information access in Portuguese, Págico (português mágico).

We are (re)using the setup created for GikiCLEF, but now in a
Portuguese-speaking context, and concentrating no longer solely on
geographical themes.

Rather, Págico will be dealing with a wide variety of topics relevant
to the Portuguese-speaking world -- more than 220 million native
speakers in five continents, and currently the sixth most used
language on the Internet (according to
http://www.portalingua.info/pt/observatoire/internet/).

Registration is now open.
Results are to be submitted in October (precise date to be announced later).
The final workshop will be a satellite event of PROPOR 2012 in
Coimbra, 17th April 2012.
