 Second Call for Workshop Proposals
The 14th MT Summit, Nice, France, 2 - 6 September 2013

We invite proposals for workshops to be held in conjunction with the Machine Translation Summit 2013. Workshops will be held 2-3 September 2013, immediately preceding the main conference and in the same venue. 
 
We solicit proposals for half-day or full-day workshops on any topic of interest to the MT community.  Organizers may structure workshops as they see appropriate, including invited talks, presentations of peer-reviewed papers, panels, etc. Organizers should design workshops for 10-50 participants to provide forums for discussions among MT researchers and practitioners on workshop topics.
 
SUBMISSION INFORMATION
Proposals for workshops should contain:
·         A title and brief description of the workshop topic and content. 
·         The desired workshop length (one or two days) and expected number of participants. 
·         The names, affiliation, postal addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses of the organizers, with one-paragraph statements of their research interests and areas of expertise. 
·         The names, affiliation, addresses, phone numbers and emails of the program committee members. 
·         A description of special requirements for technical needs. 
Please submit proposals to workshop at mtsummit2013.info  by 12 Midnight, CET, February 1, 2013.  
Notification of workshop acceptance will occur no later than February 15, 2013.
Calls for workshop papers are to be mailed to workshop at mtsummit2013.info by March 1, 2013
The deadline to submit workshop camera-ready papers and other materials is July 1, 2013.
 
Additional  information
 
One of the main organizers of a workshop will receive a complimentary registration for the workshop. The workshop organizers are encouraged to promote their event themselves. The Summit secretary may assist with access to various distribution lists. The Summit organizers will host workshops pages in the Summit website. Registration for the workshops will be managed by the Summit website. 
Workshop proceedings will be available electronically.  When a person has registered for a workshop, he/she will get a password to a site from which documentation can be viewed and downloaded when available but before the event. A beamer/projector will be provided. The organizer of a workshop is supposed to bring his/her own laptop to be connected to the beamer.
