[Corpora-List] Research positions at Singapore University and Technology and Design

[Yue Zhang]

We have three positions available for a statistical machine
translation project at Singapore University and Technology and Design:
a post-doctoral research fellow, a research assistant (master's level)
and a PhD student. They will work on new architectures of SMT for
Chinese-English and other challenging language pairs.

** Post-doctoral research fellow

This position starts in June 2013, and lasts for 3 years. The stipend
will be around S$5,000 per calendar month. The main duty of the
candidate is to perform novel research with the PI on SMT
architectures. Experiences in syntax-based SMT, and knowledge of C++
and Python are required.

** RA

This position starts in June 2013, and lasts for 1-3 years dependent
on mutual agreements. The stipend will be around S$3,000 per calendar
month. The duty of the candidate is to assist the PI and research
fellow in performing large-scale SMT experiments, developing
open-source versions of prototype systems, and organizing human
evaluations. Knowledge in C++ is required. Experiences in SMT and
MOSES are desired.

** PhD

SUTD PhD program. SUTD aims at building an internationally competitive
PhD program. The stipend will be around S$2,500 per calendar month.
The matriculation date is Sep 2013, and typical duration of PhD
research is 4 years. The candidate should have an undergraduate degree
in computer science or computer engineering, and a competitive GPA.
