*Vacancy: Postdoctoral Researcher - Language Technologies and Natural 
Language Processing at CNGL, Dublin

*The natural language processing and machine translation group at Dublin 
City University (DCU) at the National Centre for Language Technology 
(NCLT http://www.nclt.dcu.ie) is an internationally recognised research 
group. The group is part of CNGL, the Centre for Global Intelligent 
Content (URL), a EUR50M Academia-Industry partnership, funded jointly by 
Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) and Industry Partners. DCU is ranked in 
the top 50 of young universities worldwide (under 50 years old) (QS 
ranking) and in the top 100 under the Times Higher Education (under 50 
years) ranking scheme.

The MLi (European MultiLingual data & services Infrastructure) project 
will deliver the strategic vision and operational specifications needed 
for building, formulate a multi-annual plan for its development and 
deployment, and shape the multi-stakeholders alliances ensuring its long 
term sustainability. The consortium will deliver: a) the functional, 
technical and operational Specifications of the MLi, b) a multi-annual 
roll-out Plan of the MLi and its constituent services, with stages of 
development and cost/effort estimates, c) a sustainable Governance 
model, as well as terms and conditions for an organisation tasked with 
the administration, operation and maintenance of the MLi, and d) the 
statements of Commitment of stakeholders, to actively support deployment 
of the MLi.

We are seeking to recruit a postdoctoral researcher or a senior 
postdoctoral researcher in the area of Language Technologies, Natural 
Language Processing and Resource provision/management. Successful 
candidates will work with Prof. Andy Way and Prof. Qun Liu
