[Corpora-List] Junior Researcher in Computational Linguistics @ Vicomtech-IK4

Vicomtech-IK4, an international applied research centre in Visual
Interaction and Communication Technologies located in San Sebastian (Spain)
is looking for a Junior Researcher in Computational Linguistics. We seek
someone with an interest in the development of NLP tools and resources, who
combines research and implementation skills and is motivated by the
transfer of natural language processing technologies into real world
applications through the development of prototypes meant to solve real
needs.


 The selected candidate will be part of the Human Speech and Language
Technologies Department, and will be involved in research and development
projects. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, with a good
understanding of linguistic phenomena and the ability to adapt, extend and
develop tools for the automatic processing of lexical, morphological and
syntactic information.


Skills:

- Good programming knowledge of Python, Perl and/or Java.

- Good knowledge of lexical semantics, morphology and syntax.

- Experience in the development of NLP tools and resources is a strong plus.

- Strong knowledge of Spanish is mandatory. Knowledge of English, Basque
and other languages will be valued.

- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Education and Experience:

- M.A. in Computational Linguistics or related field
