we have developed some linguistic tools for Spanish and Catalan,<br>

the SVMTool is a PoS-tagger only, wheras Freeling includes
tokenization,<br>
sentence
splitting, NE detection, date/number/currency
recognition, PoS tagging,<br>
and chart-based shallow parsing.<br>
