de Corpus visent à promouvoir le <BR>développement de la linguistique de corpus

Meeting in Lorient 15 - 17 septembre 2005<BR><BR><STRONG>Registration is now

4th "Journées de la linguistique de corpus" corpus linguistics meeting will
<BR>be held in Lorient on the 15th, 16th and 17th September 2005. They are
<BR>organised by the Corpus Research Team of the ADICORE research group of the
<BR>University of South Brittany, Lorient, France.<BR><BR>The languages of the
conference are French and English, there will be no <BR>translation
facilities.<BR><BR><STRONG>Invited Speakers</STRONG><BR><BR>We are pleased to
announce that plenary papers will be presented by :<BR>Professor Wolfgang
Teubert, University of Birmingham, <EM>Corpus linguistics: A new <BR>way to look
at meaning.<BR></EM>and <BR>Professor Jean Véronis, University of
Aix-en-Provence. <EM>La linguistique de <BR>l'infiniment
petit.<BR></EM><BR><STRONG>Objectives<BR></STRONG><BR>The 4th "Journées de
Linguistique de Corpus", like their predecessors aim to <BR>promote the
development of corpus linguistics in France. They bring together <BR>researchers
from a wide variety of backgrounds, the central issue being the use <BR>of
computational tools in the study of corpora. Topics covered
include:<BR><BR> a.. mono~ and bilingual lexicology and
lexicography,<BR> b.. quantitive linguistics,<BR> c.. terminology
and terminography<BR> d.. translation studies<BR> e.. discourse
analysis,<BR> f.. applied and descriptive linguistics<BR> g.. ...
