<br>Récital 2006, la conférence annuelle des jeunes chercheurs associée à

<br>TALN, se déroulera à Leuven (Belgique) du 10 au 13 avril 2006. Elle

<br>est réservée aux doctorants et aux jeunes docteurs ayant obtenu leur

doctorat depuis moins d'un an.

<br>

<br>Récital a pour vocation d'offrir aux jeunes chercheurs en TAL

<br>l'occasion de se rencontrer, de présenter leurs travaux et de comparer

<br>leurs approches. Cette conférence a son propre comité de programme,

constitué de chercheurs confirmés et de jeunes docteurs.

<br>CRITÈRES DE SÉLECTION

<br>

<br>Les auteurs (doctorants et jeunes docteurs ayant obtenu leur doctorat

<br>depuis moins d'un an) sont invités à soumettre des travaux de

<br>recherche originaux, n'ayant pas fait l'objet de publications

<br>antérieures. Les soumissions seront examinées par au moins deux

<br>spécialistes du domaine.  Seront considérées en particulier :

<br>

<br>      - l'importance et l'originalité de la contribution

<br>      - la correction du contenu scientifique et technique

<br>      - la discussion critique des résultats, en particulier par

<br>        rapport aux autres travaux du domaine

<br>      - la situation des travaux dans le contexte de la recherche

<br>        internationale

<br>      - l'organisation et la clarté de la présentation

<br>      - l'adéquation aux thèmes de la conférence

<br>

<br>Les articles sélectionnés seront publiés dans les actes de la

<br>conférence aux Presses universitaires de Louvain. Le volume sera

distribué aux participants en début de conférence.

<br>MODALITÉS DE SOUMISSION

<br>

<br>Les soumissions devront parvenir au comité d'organisation avant le 19

<br>décembre 2005 sous forme électronique à l'adresse suivante :

<br>titre de la communication, le nom, l'affiliation, l'adresse postale,

principal.

<br>La double soumission d'un même papier à TALN et Récital n'est pas

<br>autorisée. Cependant il est possible d'être (co-)auteur d'un autre

papier présenté à TALN.

<br>FORMAT POUR LES SOUMISSIONS

<br>

<br>Les articles soumis ne devront pas dépasser 10 pages en Times 12,

<br>espacement simple, soit environ 3000 mots, figures, exemples et

<br>références compris. Les propositions de poster ne devront pas dépasser

<br>3 pages.

<br>

<br>Les articles devront être au format A4. Les feuilles de style (LateX

<br>et Word) seront disponibles ultérieurement sur le site web de la

conférence.

<br>Récital 2006, the student conference associated with TALN, will be

<br>held in Leuven (Belgium) from 10 to 13 April 2006. Récital is intended

<br>for PhD students or researchers having recently obtained a Ph.D in the

field of natural language processing.

<br>

<br>Récital aims to provide young researchers with a opportunity to meet,

<br>present their research and compare their approaches. This conference

<br>has its own program committee which consists of experienced

researchers and young doctors who got their PhD in the last year.

<br>

<br>THEMES

<br>      - Lexical databases containing morphological, syntactic, semantic

<br>        and/or phonological information

<br>      - Analysis, generation and lexis in the following fields:

<br>          - Morphology

<br>SELECTION CRITERIA

<br>

<br>Authors (PhD students and young doctors who got their PhD in the last

<br>year) are invited to submit papers describing original, completed, and

unpublished work. Papers will be evaluated by at least two reviewers.

<br>The criteria mainly taken into account will be:

<br>

<br>      - the importance and originality of the contribution

<br>      - the scientific and technical correctness of the work

<br>      - the comparison with related works

<br>      - the organisation and the clarity of the presentation

<br>      - the relevance of the work to the main topics of the conference

<br>

<br>The selected papers will be published in the conference proceedings by

<br>Louvain University Press. The proceedings will be given to

participants at the begining of the conference.

<br>

<br>SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

<br>

<br>The submissions must be emailed as an attachment to the organising

<br>committee (<a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated" href="mailto:recital@tedm.ucl.ac.be">recital@tedm.ucl.ac.be</a>) before December 19 2005. The email

<br>must contain the title of the paper, the first author's name,

affiliation, postal & electronic address and telephone & fax.

<br>

<br>Joint submission of the same paper to both TALN and Récital is not

<br>allowed. However, one can be author/co-author of another paper

presented at TALN.

<br>

<br>SUBMISSION FORMAT

<br>

<br>The submitted paper must not exceed 10 pages using Times 12 and single

<br>spacing, figures, examples and references included (roughly 3,000

words).  The proposals for posters must not exceed 3 pages.

<br>

<br>All the papers must be in A4 Format (and not US Letter). The

<br>stylesheets (LateX & Word) will soon be availlable on the conference

web site.
