<BR><BR>As postdoctoral research fellow/senior research fellow you will
work on a project to develop a system for computer-aided item development,
focusing on the analysis of item structure and content, as well as
evaluation of the system. You will also be involved in the
implementation/fine tuning of various Natural Language Processing (NLP)
components. The initial contract is for two years with the possibility of
extension, subject to successful completion of this project. You should
have a PhD in linguistics/computational linguistics or equivalent
experience together with native or near native English language
comprehension and excellent knowledge of English grammar, syntax and
discourse analysis. Experience NLP techniques and programming as well as
experience working on industrial projects (or working to tight deadlines)

work on a EU funded project to develop a system for Question Answering
Learning technologies in a multiLingual and Multimodal Environment
(QALL-ME), focusing on implementation of various components, as well as
evaluation of the system. This is a fix term contract for three years. You
should have a degree in computer science, whilst a PhD in computational
linguistics or equivalent experience is a plus. Experience in Natural
Language Processing (NLP) techniques and programming are required, as well
as familiarity with Question Answering and Information Extraction.
Publications in good journals, experience with grant application and
working with the industry, native or near native English speaker are a
