subject area, and a condition of the award is that the candidate must be
willing to work for up to 6 hours per week on the Aston Corpus Network (ACORN)

currently contains over 200 million words of texts in English, French, German,
Spanish, and pedagogically-oriented software and web interfaces for language
teaching and learning and translation studies. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

2007-8; 2008-9 rate not yet announced) until July 31<sup>st</sup> 2009, and the
</span></font>waiving of University fees until July 31<sup>st</sup> 2009 at the
EU rate (£3240 in 2007-8; 2008-9 fee of £3300 is awaiting approval). A non-EU
student will have to pay the difference (c. £5-6000 per year) between EU fees
and non-EU fees (£8,980 for 2007-8).<o:p></o:p></p>
