linguistics, psycholinguistics and NLP:

pleased to announce the publication of its second non-thematic issue. The

issue, coordinated by D. Vigier, features five articles. The first, by

A.M. Guiraud, is entitled « Les emplois corrélatifs de parfois,

quelquefois<i> et </i>des fois</b> ». This corpus-based study focuses on

discursive configurations where these three temporal adverbs are

repeated, and examines the varying degrees of dependency that are built

up (parallelism in construction, semantico-pragmatic relations, etc.).

<b>E. Havu </b>and <b>M. Pierrard</b>, in the article « <b><i>Réduction

et intégration de prédications : paramètres pour l'analyse des

co-prédications adjectivantes</i> </b>», propose the use of two types of

semantico-syntactic parameters to examine a set of adjectival

co-predications, consisting of adjuncts, direct and indirect object

complements, predicative uses with <i>avoir</i> and expressions with

<i>de adj</i>. The article by <b>F. Heyna</b>, « <b><i>Sémantisme et

potentiel argumentatif des dérivés dénominaux en </i>anti<i>-</i> </b>»,

considers denominal formation in <b>anti<i>-</i></b> from a semantic and

argumentative viewpoint. A distinction is drawn between two types of

derivative on the basis of the semantic value of <i>anti</i>-: an

adversative value in <i>anti-rides</i>, <i>antigrippe </i>for example,

and an antonymic value in antihéros, antiroman, etc. B.

Lamiroy</b> and <b>M. Charolles, </b>in a paper on « <b><i>Les verbes de

parole et la question de l’(in)transitivité</i> </b>», examine the

relationship between an aspect of verbal syntax (transitivity) and the

semantic characteristics of speech verbs. The last paper «

<b><i>Contribution à une étude des constructions antéposées du type </b>:

«<b> En homme intelligent et humain, il partagea tout de suite

l'inquiétude de Marcel » (J. Verne)</i>, </b>by D. Vigier is a

corpus-based study of a set of prepositional phrases with <i>« en N)

».</i> The constructions, to which little attention has previously been

paid, are examined not only from a syntactical and semantic viewpoint but

also from an enunciative and discursive perspective.
