to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Corpus Linguistics. The level of
appointment will depend on the experience and abilities of the successful
candidate. The main responsibility of the post holder will be to engage in
activities that will enhance the work of the Centre for Corpus Research,
including providing support for researchers and developing corpus resources. A
post holder at the level of Lecturer would be required to contribute to the
design, development and delivery of a range of programmes of study in addition
to undertaking research and administrative activities. One of the
administrative roles would be to liaise with the College IT support team to
manage corpus hardware and software resources. <br>
A post holder at Senior Lecturer level will in addition be required to provide
leadership for the Centre for Corpus Research, co-ordinate research activities
(including leading on applications for research funding) and disseminate
research knowledge, in addition to leading, developing and delivering teaching
curricula. <br>
