Therefore there is an increased need of Web content management systems (WCMS) which implement techniques as text mining, information retrieval or automatic summarization. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoPlainText><span lang=EN-GB>Managing information on and for the Web means also that an additional dimension has to be considered: multilinguality. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoPlainText><span lang=EN-GB><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoPlainText><span lang=EN-GB>A multilingual WCMS must not only be able to process content in different languages, but should provide mechanisms for cross-lingual retrieval and (semi-) automatic translation.
