As a tenure-track member of the faculty, candidates will be expected to teach only courses in technical/professional communication, primarily at the undergraduate level. Preference will be given to candidates with industry experience.<br>

Position<br>

Qualifications<br>
We’re interested in a diverse pool of applicants with expertise in social/digital media and professional/technical communication. All applicants must meet the following criteria: (1) Ph.D. by the time of appointment, (2) documented experience teaching courses
in professional/technical writing, and (3) a record of research or publications that focuses on social/digital media issues.<br>

As a tenure-track member of the faculty, candidates will be expected to develop a record of scholarly research necessary to obtain tenure and to regularly teach undergraduate and graduate professional/technical communication courses. The typical teaching load
for junior faculty is 2/2.<br>
