The IRF Conference provides a multi-disciplinary, scientific forum that aims to bring experienced and young researchers into contact with industry. Another emphasis is put on the applicability of IR solutions to real industry cases and to domain specific search. The event addresses a broad spectrum of search related disciplines, mainly in the domain of patent search, and is open to all emerging and established practitioners and professionals, industry leaders, researchers, and students working in the field of information access research and development. </span><o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto'><span style='color:#1F497D'>The conference takes place in Vienna, on the 2<sup>nd</sup> and 3<sup>rd</sup> of July and is hosted by the Vienna University of Technology.
