development, and implementation; lead the research, design, and implementation of various components of a dialogue-based tutoring systems including but not limited to dialogue manager, semantic interpreter, question generator, student model, and domain model;
help with the design, implementation, and data analysis of various experiments needed to fulfill the mission of the project; interact with members of the project team, supervise graduate students, publication and presentation; evaluate, install, and maintain
software packages; and administer the computing infrastructure.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

candidates should have a track record of computational linguistics and tutoring systems research. Experience with technologies in the areas of human language processing, machine learning, and virtual agents are needed. Knowledge of Java, C, and experience
