another in the successful 'Lexicom' series of workshops next month, and there
are still some vacancies.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Lexicom is an intensive 5-day workshop in
lexicography and lexical computing, now in its eleventh year. It features
seminars on relevant theoretical issues, alternating with hands-on sessions
where participants work in small groups to compile dictionary
entries, build corpora, and develop word sketches.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>The workshop would be suitable for anyone with a
background in one or more of the following:</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>lexicography, linguistics, computational
linguistics, computer support for dictionary projects, translation,
terminology.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Dates are 24th-28th September, and the location is
the small town of <FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3><FONT face=Arial
size=2>Galtür</FONT> </FONT>in the Austrian Tyrol.</FONT></DIV>
