Consequently, the intended target group of the course is PhD-students that in their research are focused on exploiting large datasets and advanced software. This course shares contents and perspectives with the newly started Danish DIGHUMLAB initiative (cf. <a href="http://dighumlab.dk/">here</a>) that has as main goal the making of digitalized resources and tools for research and education. </span><o:p></o:p></p><p><span lang=EN-US style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"'>This PhD course with knowledge resources as its focal point corresponds well with CLARIN and DARIAH - two international research infrastructure organizations that have knowledge sharing as a key element and to which the DIGHUMLAB initiative in various ways will contribute. </span><o:p></o:p></p><p><span lang=EN-US style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"'>The course will be organized with a view to both describing already existing corpora and tools and covering methods for how to build new corpora in order to address particular research questions. </span><o:p></o:p></p><p><span lang=EN-US style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"'>The course is split up in two parts, and it is possible to follow only the first two days of the course, for which a separate course certificate will be issued.
