Computational Linguistics Department at Heidelberg University
hosts a young and dynamic<br>
team conducting cutting-edge research in Natural Language
Processing. With three full <br>
professorships, a growing number of PhD students and researchers
the department is one of the <br>
important centres of Computational Linguistics in Germany. <o:p></o:p></font></p>

Research in the Computational Linguistics group focuses on <b

for semantic natural language processing</b>. Topics include
multilingual lexical semantics and <br>
knowledge acquisition, discourse-level semantic processing and
NLP applications built upon <br>

discourse-level NLP processing or text mining. <br>
</font>Prerequisites are a bachelor/masters/diploma degree in
Computational Linguistics or related <br>
fields. We expect a solid background in statistical NLP methods,

corpus-linguistic analysis techniques, very good programming
skills, and demonstration of a <br>
clear research potential. <br>

this position participates in the research of the group and
