appointment) in Computational</span> <span style="color:#333366; background:white">Linguistics. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D degree in a related discipline and a sound background in computational linguistics with experience in Arabic text mining. Prior
experience in web design, development, and usability testing with eye-trackers will be a plus. Good command of English and Arabic language is required. </span></p>
<p style="margin-right:0in; margin-bottom:12.0pt; margin-left:0in"><span style="color:#333366; background:white">The postdoc will: (a) help develop an Arabic language corpus; (b) assist with analyzing the corpus (including the figurative and metaphorical use
of words in the corpus); (c) help design and develop Arabic language web pages and conduct usability testing of these pages using eye tracking; (d) support administrative tasks of the project; and (e) coauthor/assist with related research publications and
submission to journals/conferences. This position is part of a two-year National Priorities Research Project of the Qatar National Research Foundation. The job requirements call for collaborative research work with the Department of English Literature & Linguistics
and the Department of Mass Communication at Qatar University.</span> <span style="color:#333366; background:white">
